Animated Map of Tropical Storm Wendy

Signals for Wendy:
Stand-by signal number 1 was hoisted at 03:45 on Friday 3rd September.  
All HK Tropical Cyclone signals were lowered at 11:20 on Saturday 4th September.

Wendy kept us guessing.  Early forecasts varied between a direct hit on HK and missing HK by a long way.  This kind of variation was consistant!  On 3rd, it seemed for most of the day we were right in the line of fire, but in the late afternoon Wendy swung to the right and on the morning of 4th went ashore about 180 km East of HK and dissipated rapidly over GuangDong.
