Severe Category 5 Cyclone Vance batters Western Australia Highest wind speed ever recorded in Australia's history!  Animated GIFs of satellite views and synoptic charts and many reports added 26/3/99.  Full tracks of cyclones Elaine and Vance on one GIF showing passage of Vance across Australia and into the Southern Ocean.
