Nina's Home Page

Hi, my name is Nina Smith. My Chinese name is (Si Siu-Wai).

Years ago, I had some of the symptoms of Williams Syndrome, which caused Mum and Dad to think I was a WS child for a long time but I was later diagnosed as Asperger's Syndrome. Now the experts think it is not AS either, so Mum and Dad are not trying to get me labelled any more: they just reckon I am a unique little girl that they love very much.  I used to go to the Shatin Junior School and love school very much.

In December 2003, I moved from Hong Kong to Queensland where I attended Everton Park State School for a few years. I am now attending Everton Park State High School where I am in Grade 8.

During the school holidays in the Summer of 2002, I went to the Pathways Summer School at GSIS, where Doctor Giorcelli sang to me a song called "Nina, Pretty Ballerina" that was originally recorded by ABBA.  My dad has put a midi file of the song as background music on this page.  Also, an American man named Mr Craven sent me a copy of the song so I can hear ABBA singing the words on my computer.

I am 14 years old so my Dad had to make this page for me. My Dad is Doctor Disk and the column at the left has links to his pages. I don't have an email address yet, but you can always contact my Dad.

I have a 12 years old brother named Benjamin. His Chinese name is (Si Man-Chun) and he has a Home Page under construction.

I also have another little sister named Rosie. Her Chinese name is (Si Choi Sin), and she now has a Home Page under construction. She is now 10 years old.

I like The Wiggles and Sesame Street.

Kid's Wave is a great place to start surfing the net.

My big brother Victor has a home page as well.
